Pls , i need clarification on whether red will accept credit card payment from Nigeria, to ship to a US address? Thanks.

Nigerian scam coming to forums, or is this legit?

It must be terrible to have a legitimate ebay account in Nigeria with the the country being synonymous with E-scams. One of those odd stereotypes...

I don't understand? Is anything wrong with my question? Did i make an illegitimate request? I don't see any answers to my question & don't appreciate anyone hijacking my post.If you have any observations about Nigeria, you are free to create your own post. If anyone at RED has a constructive answer, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

1. Order RED Scarlet package totaling $17,000
2. Send RED a "cashiers check" for $20,500, asking that they simply send you a check back for the $3500 balance and ship your camera.
3. ???
4. PROFIT!

I'm sorry... I couldn't help it. I really do hope you get the answers you need. Strongly encourage you to contact them via their support page. Remember it's the week before Christmas here in the US, so don't expect a quick reply from any businesses for the next week and a half or so...

Not called for. Reeks of smartassism.

My note about hoping he gets the answers he needs IS sincere, along with the rest in those two last lines. But for those of us who have been subjected to the Nigerian scam emails, 1 through 4 seem to be pretty standard.

I'm glad the OP seems to be legit though, and I sincerely do wish him the best of luck in getting an order secured.
