  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Id upgrade to a TI mount in a heartbeat if it meant I could have it now. it would pay for its self in one day.

Well, that's the thing I find confusing... Take a look at this list. There's a few orders before 51301, yet none of those have shipped yet. So how is it that Emil has received his allocation notification?

I'm just trying to understand RED's shipment schedule. :)

Wildly speculating here, but if his ships from England, he can be in the 1st European Batch...

Just thinkin' out loud...

I ordered the Ti PL mount, but was changed into a Ti Canon mount without loosing place in line (We had a situation and RED has been very helpful with providing a canon mount to save a production).

This particular case might not reflect the total situation ofc. Note that my rep did say changing to AL canon mount would not be possible withouth delay in delivery, which I guess indicates that there is 1) a lot of orders and/or 2) hickups in production.

Interesting to see a Ti Canon mount shipping... I'd have expected Norway to be shipping direct from the US though? I might be wrong.

I do hope Red are preparing a jumbo sized batch of AL Canon mounts to hit in one go, or a lot of people will be looking glum over christmas.
 
Emil, I will get in touch with you via email. We are not shipping Ti Canon mounts with SCARLETs yet, no.

Gunleik & the rest: I'm based in Trondheim, but who knows. Oslo is never far away.
Now I'd love to go north, except for the cold.. Been up in the mountains once. Absolutely love the scenery :)

Martin: Was it you that I met on Carl Johan some weeks ago? Was talking briefly on lenses. How far north btw?
