  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I just received my scarlet-x allocation notification here in Germany. So I guess we'll have it in our hands before christmas.
Thank you RED, I really wasn't expecting this!

LCD, SSDs, Batteries, Case and Primes have already been shipped.
I really hope they also ship either the sidehandle or the v-mount plate, otherwise we'll have to run cables.

Congratulations, Rafael! Great to hear that some Scarlets are going out in Europe now too. Germany is such a beautiful country. Whereabouts are you in Germany? I've only been to a few places there. Berlin is one of my favourite cities in the world though and I was only there for a few days with my family six years ago.

I'm 0997 PL Mount and I have not even been contacted by RED UK........
I think this SO number is not really important. Why I'm under the impression that no one is taking care of me ... :/

No thats our order number.

We're located in the southwest, close to the borders of france and switzerland.

Unfortunetely neither sidehandle nor backpack is included in our shipment, so we will be limited to mains..
 
right but I'm from Europe so Red Uk is taking care of us... so its different from the rest of the world I would have receive my camera long time ago if I was not from Europe

Got the allocation mail yesterday, experienced great consultation and help from REL via phone. No problems!!
Received the proforma invoice right after the call and wired funds today!!

Shipping cost: 150 GBP
Banking fee: 50 EUR
No Vat, as I have a VAT Nr.

Thanks to Red and Red Europe!!! Nicest Christmas ever!!!

Hope to meet other Berlin based Scarlet owners soon!

thank you Sebastian ... in fact I've made like you, we call RED UK and they have clear our the situation... Now the camera is allocated but for the REdmote and Sidehandle, SO we ordered a XLR power cable to power it up thanks to power belt...
in the mean time I cleared my Epic X stage this was also pending, no deposit was asked...
