Trouble with the lock function on LCD

So first off, Fedex just dropped off our new baby, Epic #1239!


I'm having some difficulty with our LCD. It seems really easy to put the screen into 'lock' mode, but really tricky to get it to unlock. Its like the screen doesn't recognize that I'm pressing on the screen (Keeping my finger on the 'lock' icon to 'unlock' it). Anyone else having this issue? Or are my fingers just too big!???



But I'm wondering if there's a way to just disable this function. To keep it unlocked all the time.

I had the same trouble - ended up resetting the system to sort it out and get the screen to unlock.
