Did we hear anything more about James Cameron buying the 50 Epics? do we know if he's shot anything with them that has been released or planned for release. Or even what he thought of them?

... best response ever. I applaud you sir.

Hello Mr. Cameron, your uhm... your.. 50 EPIC-Ms have been allocated... should we... should we just charge that to the card on file? ....yes

i have recently worked with him on a secret project and we did use epics and he did talk about using an epic for an upcoming shoot and he actually requested to eject the media and format it himself to see how it works...it was quite a moment. i did write jim, jarred and ted at the time to let them know...that is all i can say and i hope i did not say too much.

Dino, you are Reduser's James Bond.

Also remember he has his own company with Vince Pace - Pace/Cameron, where they offer stereo rigs and technology featuring both Alexa and now Epic.

So there are business reasons for his purchase beyond him actually using them on a film ala Peter Jackson. Great to hear from Dino that Cameron is shooting with them tho!

eject then format.. hmmmmm I usually format first ;-) Id love to play with REDUNDEAD and those cards ;-)

I understand that he has a 3d company.....I'd imagine part of a plan might include specializing in providing pre to post 3d solutions for filmmakers........
