Just wondering if there are any recommendations for the best "backpackable" powering system for the Epic and Scarlet with touchscreen LCD. (2-3 days field work without charging or only use of solar chargers)

Factors to consider:

1. Weight & efficiency /pound
2. Run time
3. Cost
4. Total build weight (i.e. if used on a lighter tripod, slider, jib)
5. Charge time

Side question: what are some recommendations for solar chargers

Darryl we used the Redvolts in a very lightweight field setup a few weeks ago shooting a civil war reenactment for a music video. Very happy with the overall ergonomics. Runtime was about 30 min per with the touch screen & Canon mount (Epic-X)

We had 10 batteries which was fine for a day. Charge time is prett long on the current travel chargers (1.5-2.5 hours off a genny). I might want to look at a way to rig the quad charger with Solar when it comes out.

Not the cheapest per pound but for a lightweight setup it's pretty hard to beat.
