Well all you'll need is a free copy of sketch up. I was trying to source a good file for the dimensions of the epic/scarlet, but really couldn't find anything except a few from Jarred. So I made my own! The file is free, just remember I in no way collaborated with RED on this. This is to help those who would like to design options for the red. The important dimensions are VERY close, but I DO NOT guarantee anything. this is just a labor of love for all of us. Cheers! File to come shortly.

Good job and I am sure many appreciate it ( just want this to be clear that in now way am I trying to take away anything from your work, you did an excellent job). Just wanted others to know that the Scarlet's dimensions will be slightly different as there are no "ribs" on the right side of the Scarlet (right side when looking straight on towards the lens mount), while the Scarlet does have "ribs" on the SSD side, it does not on the opposite side, whereas the Epic has "ribs" on both sides.

I was going to mention the ribs as well. Other than that it looks pretty much exactly like the scarlet! good job!

oops, did I forget to show that..? ;)

Nice one, might check it out see if I can import it into SolidWorks.

Basic form factor for design work is handy before we get the real item in hand.

Let you know how it goes,

Cheers,

Eric

Eric, cool let me know how it goes. I'll update the file here and there, I know there are plenty of things missing. But it's good enough for now. NOW to just have someone make one out of paper from these dimensions! lol.

Time to convert, texture, light and render. Woo, thanks.
