Posting this in the Scarlet section since most of the new folks are coming from the Scarlet camp. First off, welcome. Secondly, it's apparent since November third that many threads are being resurrected from the dead, the zombies. While folks are poring over Reduser learning all they can, their new posts are clogging the arteries. Here is another help for you besides the search function in the upper right. Try this search function: http://tinyurl.com/26wysc9

It's a custom Google search that will give you better results in your hunting for answers. Really, try it.

But it will be a HUGE help to everyone if you simply look at the original post date and the last post date within a thread. Some of these recent postings are pretty funny and a walk down memory lane for the older members, but it clogs the pipeline of information. So please try that Google search and make it a permanent link in your browser. And before you ask why isn't it a permanent part of Reduser, well it was at one point, but it had to leave after the great site meltdown, when we lost so many good links and images. Don't want that to happen again if we can avoid it.

Glad you're here. There is a TON of useful information and helpful folks willing to answer questions.

So true... this needs to be a sticky/mandatory for all new users to read.... Thank you for posting what many of us are thinking, Mark.

Mhhh... threads.

I don't think there is anything wrong with reviving conversations; though it is kinda annoying when hundreds come back to life simultaneously. It is however always a good idea to share that google RedUser search link. Very helpful. Wish everyone knew about it, cause all it takes is a few tries of the regular search to make you go zombie.

Thanks Mark. That should prove very useful, as I spend a fair chunk of time scrolling through old sections or struggling to find/use the best terminology or phrasing.

BUT... have to confess when I'm a little disappointed this thread wasn't 16 odd pages of people sharing their preferred ways to capture 4 & 5K zombies.

:wink5:

Mark.

Great tip!

Just tried it. WOW! This should be a sticky for sure. It ranks right up there with discovering the ask David Mullen anything thread to me.

Reduser ROCKS!

Great tool! I've been all afternoon researching exposure threads and what is most significant is the level of cordiality in the conversations from 2008 'tll 2010. I might just as well live in the past of Reduser...

I enjoy the threads from yesteryear. Kinda like a Jetson's episode - according to RED we should all be flying space cars by now (snark snark)

I'm feeling it, Lliam. I thought this was a new clothing line.
