Did this a couple of years ago but came out today in a teaser form on the nytimes site for the 48th anniversary of the Kennedy assassination.

Enjoy...

There are full credits so no use duplicating efforts...

I will say it was one of the most interesting 8 hours of my life listening to these two extremely smart men debate and illuminate this subject.

Nice. I would have just assumed he was using it as a sun shade .. and to send signals to the real shooter of course :gun:

Dino.

You get all the cool gigs.

Errol Morris = My documentary hero

Always smart. Always interesting. Always unpreductable.

The pressing question, of course, is: when will Local 600 get around to organizing the Interratron Techs? UNITY NOW.

i guess this crowd is too young too appreciate this piece...oh well...i thought it was fascinating.

Dude!!!!! I've already posted this all over my facebook. (Mostly because I love a good conspiracy, but also because the "umbrella man" reminds me of the observers on fringe)

I knew something was awesome about the camera shooting the interview, but didn't think they'd splurge on an epic.

Dino,
Just for those that might not get the significance of Errol Morris documentary films.

Errol Morris saved a death row inmates life with his film "the thin blue line".

His documenatry was so detailed that they had to reopen the case and aquit the man. I'm not sure how many filmmakers can talk about how their films have saved lives, but that film did save the life of a death row inmate.

He has basically invented a style of documentary filmmaking and really s required viewing for anyone who takes the documentary gene seriously. His films are "films" not TV show style "current affairs" calling itself documentary.

It's grat that you were able to shoot this with him. I'd love to see some shots of the rig on the RED ONE 31 MX.

For those that do not knwo what the "interogon rig" is. It is designed so that the interview and suject can look each other in through a mirror and maintain eyecontact, but the effect is that the subject stares directly down the lens at the "viewer" instead of "off camera". This style is heavily borrowed in the NFL films series "AMERICA's GAME" where you feel the players or coaches are talking directly to you. telling you the story.
