Scarlet-X $12,000 + After Jan 2012?

[Adam Palmer]

Hi guys just wondering if I have read Jim's thread right when he states:

Price for Scarlet-X, including Brain, Side SSD and Canon aluminum mount (auto-focus support) is $9,750 if ordered before December 31st, 2011. After Jan. 1st, 2012 the price for Scarlet will be $9700 for the Brain only.

Does this mean that following December 31st, we will have to pay separately for the SSD Side Module and AL Canon mount (each $1,500 I believe) increasing the base Scarlet package to $12,700. Also, will this cause an increase in the $14,000 package?

P.S sorry if these questions have been answered already.

Yes. And yes, they have been answered.... can't remember which thread but it's fairly easy to find with a quick search.

If you've seen the price increase thread, your question is basically answered. You can see which components are going to go up in price and what those prices will be... a bit of basic addition gets you your answer

The canon al mount is only $500 I believe

Historically a mount has been included in the base price of a brain, Ti Pl mount on Epic for instance. I expect the Al Canon mount will still be included in the brain price. You will lose the $1500 side mount SSD though.

Umm. Is the AL canon mount available for sale? I ordered Ti PL mount but will need a AL canon mount asap

This is not necessarily the case.
