Scarlet X deposit

Hy everyone!

I'm about to become part of the REDUSER family, but before that i would need some advice...
If i pay 10% this year and the rest of it in 2012, will i get the old prise of the package?
If deposit paid; After how long time it must be paid fully? Within one year or so? Would i lose my deposit if i run out of one year?

If you get your orders in before the end of the year you are good to go. I don't believe when you pay matters.

10% deposit must be payed when you place your order - the rest you have to pay, when your cam is ready for shipping. Until now nobody can tell, when exactly the cams get shipped. But I really hope we won't have to wait a Year ;-)

Sascha is correct. It was about a month between deposit and full payment. That was my ship time on the R1. You may have a little longer if Scarlet is in back order for a little while. They will work with you if you need an extra week or so but you need to have all the money soon after ordering. However, I haven't seen anything about a price hike for Scarlet in the new year. It doesnt seem likely that RED would raise the price a month and a half after the first units ship. I wouldn't worry about that.

You can't just pay the rest of the price whenever you like. First you place a 10% deposit, then you're waiting for the camera to be ready. When your camera is ready you have 3 days to pay the remaining balance to red if it's not already on your account, if you fail to pay the rest if the balance you will drop out if the current shipment list and will have to wait again, till the next batch of cameras approaches delivery.

Well, in this case better to wait, collect all the money and not to pay any deposit.
