  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Holy crap only 6 hours to scarlet in around 4 minutes!

I can not wait!

I am also excited to see Canon get their arses kicked!

What do you guys think? <3

And who is going, i just want to see, and maybe find someone who is goings Twitter....

I have a feeling Canon will be left in red coloured dust.
 
I have been successfully avoiding getting overly excited about this, but I think the over excitement is about to kick in... I can't ignore it any longer! I can't wait to see what Red announces!
 
To kill a little time... I was browsing the RED store to get familiar with the accessoried I might need if I go for a Scarlet in 4 hours... and just noticed that the DSMC 1.8" SSD SIDE MODULE is marked as *not* compatible with the Scarlet. Does that seem strange to anybody else? I'm sort of new, maybe something simple I didn't realize.

Canon did fail!

"Despite — or perhaps because of — RED Digital Cinema’s dominance in 4K aquisition, Canon is claiming that “the industry isn’t quite ready yet” for more than 1080p. Perhaps it depends on which particular segment of the industry: although big-budget Hollywood continues to embrace 4K aquisition at a steadily growing rate."

i just got a new MBP today and think the touch pad might break tonight because of hitting refresh just a few more min and they r releasing it in hollywood then it will be pushed on line GAH hurry up time go faster.
 
Just an hour left to go now! The Canon unveiling has been fun to follow (those lenses look nice!), but the Scarlet is what we're all waiting for. :D

Just press Apple - R/ Command- R.
