Hey friends, sorry if this is a repeat. I am shooting a 2 camera feature with Red Ones and have a tricky situation. On prep day both cameras accepted jamsync fine from our audio recorder, awesome we got sync! That was a short lived experience. Once on set one camera stopped wanting to jam via timecode port. The rental house took a look and claimed it was probably a bad port. Can't send the camera back mid shoot. Tried software fixes, nothing.

SO, what I am looking for is another method of syncing. One camera is jamming just fine, is there a way to send timecode via genlock? or even rec start/stop control and set one as the master controller (that way clips would be easier to sync in post?). Please help! Thanks!

Lol, I actually just posted a similar question in the Audio section..hopefully someone can answer this..

Check that the cable is sending TC properly and in the right directions.
Occasionally TC cables are miswired.

The cables are wired correctly and working fine as they are also working when we jam to the A camera, the B will not jam. Can anyone point me to resources for Master/slave control for REC start/stop for multi-cam, I assume this is possible.
