Film vs. Digital in the New Yorker

It's sad, I had one of the last 16mm films printed at the Soho Film Lab last November and they stopped printing shortly thereafter when they were taken over by Deluxe. It's understandable, though... there just isn't the demand these days for 16mm projection reels. A number of British installation artists who work primarily in 16mm and show their work on gallery walls using old projectors were very taken aback by this decision.
