Has anyone out there had this problem?
I have a shot, actually a whole bunch of shots, that are 2K @ 300fps. When I try to export them, I get a message, "error decoding frame..."
Anyone out there have this problem?
I've re-installed redrocket firmware as well as driver and even tried REDCine v.487....same result, error decoding frames.

Can you try RCX Pro?

Email the logs to redcinex at red . com if that doesn't work also.

Same thing here! Can't play anything shot at 2k on Epic X. Some shot at 300 fps, some shot at 25 fps. RCXP as well as Resolve can't do anything with it. RCXP seems to completely hang when trying to access the file then 10 seconds after trying to access another file it responds again.

2009 8-core MacPro with Rocket.

I'm having this same problem now too. I'm transcoding 5K 2.41 anamorphic to 1080p ProRes. It won't even load clips sometimes. Just gives me tons of decoding errors..... What's going on....? :scared:

I'm on 10.6.8, latest RCX-Pro Beta 6 build, running a RedRocket with Driver 1.4.10.0 and Firmware 1.1.14.40

Getting errors like this in my Log:
RR Callback - Decode Failed - Frame: 0 Item: 0x117b152b0 Mode: 'DHRG' CustomSize: 0x0 PixelType: 0x42475238 ImageBuffer:

You should not be seeing this issue with the latest driver & firmware up on our support site. Please make sure you're running the latest (either beta or release) version.

Thanks!

I've figured out a temp fix...... Looks like it's saying there are "bad frames" or something at the head of the clip. The data is there and everything looks normal....... But, I've figured out if I add a clip In-Point a second or so into it that RCX let's me preview and transcode now...... I'm not sure what's causing this.... RCX? RedRocket? Corrupt Data? Bad SSD card? Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. I'm on set all day.

I can try to update drivers and firmware on set but I'm really reluctant on doing that incase something major happens and then I'm completely useless....

P.S. I'm not shooting 300fps, just 23.98 5K 2.41 anamorphic.

I transcoded a few shots on the day that I got my Epic-X. No Rocket that day. 300 fps, 2K. Made some nice ProRes files (although surprisingly noisy; admiitedly I did not do a black balance)
But no error decoding messages. Used Redcine-X Release Build 501.
Sorry to hear that, Jay... is it those cool motorcycle racing shots?
Cheers,
Harry
