  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Ok, I've done this twice when rushing, I go into a high speed mode that forces me to change compression, then go back to 24 and FORGET to change the compression back.. Is there a way to have it revert to the previous compression or implement a reminder when changing to a lower camera speed to "check your compression".. Basically the same thing it does when reminding you it need to change compression, but when you go back to a normal framerate..

I know, asking a lot, but I can't be the only one that winds up shooting the next scene when rushing to change back to 24.. Or maybe I am..

I made a request for this over a month ago and Red said they would look at implementing it. But not in any current release yet.

RED, please, allow more requests:
-1080p at higher fps, 720p at even higher fps, 480p much, much more fps.
-Dialog box "Are you sure you want to format?"
-If possible, faster black shading process
-More touchscreen gestures. For example, swiping left to right would change viewing options from RAW to Exposure, etc.
-If possible, built-in ND
Thanks!

User compression presets for the most used fps speed, high ISO and HDRx modes would be great.

Exactly, much simpler than what I wrote! Hahaha, ISO I dont care about, and HDRx is hard to out a preset on because your exposure will be different most of the time?
