The issue is that people have to pay off loans, favors, or their retirement fund. And you can't pay that stuff off with favors.

If you have a RED One, why not just use it? It's not the camera, it's the story that counts. If you're just looking for experience with the camera, rental houses are often very accommodating to teaching you the gear, even if you have to make a trip out of it.

Epic's name fits it well.

I loved my r1 and never thought I'd ever want another camera. Until picked up an Epic.

wow, no wonder Jim is happy with it.

II think this camera will increase productivity on set by a large magnitude for me. Already built a slider dolly system with pulleys etc that mounts on light stands with remote pan and tilt because this camera is so small!! it's pretty much like shooting DSLR....but with a professional image!!!
