Great deal. But I have to ask... After you killed Blair, what did you do with his body?

His human body that is... I see what's to become of the other. Sorry I had to clarify, because I could already see the comments if I didn't.

Exiting, stage left

Exiting, stage left

I had always planned to keep R1 #19 for sentimental reasons and as a "B" camera but after spending some time with the Epic I just can't go back there.

The Epic is superior in so many ways, from form factor to IQ.

The final straw for me was the shift to SSD media. The hassle of maintaining CF cards, RedDrives, SSDs and all the appropriate readers just doesn't make sense in the fast paced world of field production. If I was a guy who shot in the same studio 90% of the time then I might not care... (yes, I know I could slap a SSD module onto the R1 but as a guy who has been operating for 37 years I just want the smaller, lighter Epic)

In any case, I had many memorable adventures with #19 since that fateful day in August of 2007 - may the next owner have many more :-)

Cheers - #19

RED19 good times!

Here's a shot of 19 and Blair

Hehe... All good Blair, I totally understand. In fact, I'm in the same boat. Since getting the EPIC-M, I haven't shot with a RED One. It's sitting in the cabinet behind me... starting at me...

Anyway, I just though it was funny that it was your #19 up for sale, in a post by Evin.
