  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Legit Seller

Boy that's a tough one. It looks legit in everyway except that username! If they are legit, they need to change their name.

Hmm: while he has enough 100% feedback as a buyer, he has absolutely zero, zip, donut hole, nada feedback of any kind as a seller. Yet he claims "We guarantee the product and have sold more 3D camera rigs than any other company over the past 3 years." Makes me think: "Who's 'we'? And where have they been selling these 3D rigs for the last three years? Not on ebay, I guess."

Also, the ad says "It was used ONCE for a 3D commercial in Hollywood," but two of the pictures were pretty obviously NOT taken in Hollywood, and one is a render. Probably a safe bet that NONE of the pictures are of the actual unit being offered for sale.

PayPal might have your back, and YMMV, but personally I'd need more information than that listing is giving me to make that kind of purchase.

Why is 2 of those pictures obviously NOT taken in Hollywood? Because it looks like they traveled to africa LOL. That could be at any studio. Never heard of art direction

Those 3D Film Factory rigs brand new are only a few thousand more bucks than the eBay price, so if you want a cheapo 3D rig without (I believe) the ability to do dynamic IO and convergence changes (I.e. your IO and C are set by hand before you roll and that's that) then you might as well buy direct from the manufacturer. IMO.
