Hi there.

Okay so here is the link to my short film I wrote, directed and edited. Cool thing is that now because of this film I got the chance to pitch a pilot comedy series to IFC (Independent Film Channel).

A boy watching his father die looks back in hopes to remember who he was. Based on the actual death of my father when I was 12.

Directed, written, and edited by Andrew Burhoe
Cinematography by Jessica Knight
1st AC: Ximena Fernandez
Sound by Sean Benson
1st AD: Nick Morgulis
Gaffer: John Weaver
Key Grip: Nellie Smydra
Produced by Stephen Reeves, Veronica Echeverria, and Wingel Buendia

Starring:
Erie Berger as father
Thor Wahlestedt as son
Cora Williams as mother

Ringling College of Art + Design short film from the 2010 to 2011 year.

I liked the images, but more than half of your film's running time is titles and credits!
I see this a lot with my students' work and it's something best avoided, that can be seen as pretentious.

I agree, but the film it self had issues I'd rather not get into. But I just wanted to post this up.

thank you for your film. a great short film. Well acted and great visuals. I didn't have a problem with the length of credits and such. It gave me time to reflect on your message. Obviously you have to thank everyone who helped out and that's what credits are for and that's why they are at the end. You can always get up and walk away from the credits. Great Job!
