I think I recall that it was $6000 when we purchased ours.
It is ..... Was.. a great lens. Real pity they stop making it. I hope if they do rebuild it that they keep it light and small like the original.

I'm now liking the idea of just using a Canon 70 to 210 2.8L stabilised. With a Variable ND on the front.
I'm going to make a dedicated EPIC X kit with a canon mount.
