First off - WOW what a great new version of Redcine (Pro 2)! THANK YOU

But... There are a few Tangent Wave issues (Windows)

1 - Lift wheel is way, way too fast - a tiny move makes a huge change. Shadow and FLUT are a bit too fast - would be great if we could set speeds in prefs. Brightness is much too slow.

2 - Names of parameters do not update in display when we change them in prefs.

3 Tangent Wave often disconnects itself for no apparent reason - it seems to do this a lot if one tries to change color parametres with the mouse that the panel also controls. Only fix is to restart Redcine.

4 - Would be great if we had pages and with other sets of button assigns - as the way it works in Resolve- other parameters would be nice to have on other pages, Particularly knob control of curve shapes on a Curve Page.

5 - Would be great to be able to save grades to buttons and recall them as versions easily - in Color Finesse we have double-click to store, and single click to recall. This works very well.

Rob,

Thanks for your input. I'll take a look at your issues.

Thank you! I must say, now is more than ever a great time to work with Red footage!

Rob,

I've toned down the sensitivity on a lot of the analog controls in the Wave panel. This will be in an upcoming release. As for the rest, I've taken note of the suggestions & issues.

Thank you Grant!

All were a bit too fast, except for Brightness which was much too slow (so I think it would need to be a bit faster).

The Gamma and Gain controls were just a bit too fast, and the Lift control WAY fast. The trick is also to balance all three so that similar movement means similar change in most images - colorist sense memory wants all three to move similarly, if that makes any sense.

On a small panel like Wave, many pages are the way to go - so we could have everything mapped to the panel, just broken up into pages. Usually it's the buttons you now have assigned to "reset value" which have pages names assigned to them (usually it's be pressing down on the analog spinners that we reset the value they control.)
