Just installed Redcine-x pro on my window xp 32 Avid MC system
It's a HPxd8400 (xeon) with a Nvidia Quadro 1500 card.

After making sure the drivers were up to date, the software is stable, but it's IMPOSSIBLE to export anything.

Always failing the task.
Any clues?

i want use the workflow with AVID MC DnxHd 175 cause i want to edit a new music video i shot on Red Epic during 2 days.
Before i was working with the Metafuze/RedOne workflow.

Hi Jessy,

Is the export actually just not starting, or are you getting an export error? Can you enable verbose logging and send your log files to redcinex at red dot com please?

Cheers,
David

So what im doing is :
- arrange colors for a clip
- file- export
- i choose the settings i need (Avid)
- when i clic ok, then it prompts me for a file name and folder
- ok, then after 2-3seconds, in the bottoms, it says :
" 0% - finished with error - exporter setup task failed!
- theirs no Error table where i can see why of what is the error.

what can i do to send more info to get it analysed?

please use 'save report' in the help menu and email the report to redcinex at red . com

I am in the same boat, exporter setup task failed. The great Dave Weber offered to talk and walk me through it. If I take him up on it, I will post the results. At least it is not just me....

Thanks guys. I'm able to reproduce, so expect a fix for the next release. It looks like a Windows only issue. In the meantime I'd suggest rolling back to 501 for transcoding Avid or Quicktime on Windows.
