I don't think you can buy it just yet ... but expect the price to be at least as high as the F35, so over $125,000

Yeah, that would be nice ... but they were kidding around, and that's not what they said at all.

I expect the bare camera will come in at $98K so they can keep their "promises." Then you have to buy EVF, LCD, i/o modules and boards ... you know the usual.

Call it pessimism, pessimism based on bitter experience with Sony.

Of course Red has sort of eaten their lunch over the last few years and then Canon and the DSLR business gave them another kick in the teeth, so maybe they are getting hungry again over there.

That would definitely be a step.

If it came in with a ready to run price near Epic X ... well THAT would be serious competition and worth getting excited about.
