Hey guys, I'm trying desperately not to send my camera in so pleaseeeeeee help..

PROBLEM: EPIC will not show voltage with:
Stock RED BATTERY PLATE, 2b-1b cable, RED BRICKS

EPIC will show voltage if I use an Anton Bauer block battery.. Bypassing the RED PLATE AND RED BRICKS

This is the case with my friends EPIC as well.

What I have tried:
2 EPICS
2 RED PLATES
4 different RED BRICKS
2 2B-1B cables
No workie--

Can someone PLEASE tell me (a picture would be even better) if their EPIC works and shows voltage with my exact setup??
EPIC-M, RED PLATE, 2b-1b, RED BRICK

THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH I can not afford to send it back for any period of time right now..

RED SUPPORT, I am working with Michael and John and have an open case.. Just trying my last ditch effort to see if I am the only one before I send it in..

Can som

I have voltage showing fine, but I'm using other brands of v-lock. Can't imagine its red brick specific... I've had all sorts of v-locks attached in fact, always showing voltage. Thats with the EPIC-M, Red quick plate and basic Red battery plate and the 2b-1b adapter.

Hmm, interesting.. Will see if I can get another vmount battery before I send it in.. That would be pretty odd if a RED batt is the issue?

It could be the pins not connecting on the battery or battery plate properly.
The best course is to have support take a detailed look at all the components.

BTW, it's best to keep working directly on support for stuff like this as
it's their primary purpose and reduser is not a good avenue for
direct support.

Gotcha Deanan, I am working with John Restivo right now, and I was just wondering if anyone else had the same issue or could at least replicate it actually working..

I have tried 2 plates and 2 cameras 2 cables, same problem.. going to try someone else's RED BRICK and if that doesn't work I'll send it in to you boys to get her pulse rate showing when I can afford to let her go...

Thank you for the help..

Never had voltage readout with Epic #922 and Red bricks on Red One belt plate and Epic adapter. I do get voltage when using AC adapter. Go figure. Firmware???

The plot thickens....

We never had any read out with AC adaptor nor battery plates (RED belt clip plate and Action Products).
