CF Card not mounting on camera

Hi

We have one 16gb cf card that is having trouble.

It mounts on the computer fine, passes all read/write tests, and otherwise seems a.ok.

On camera its giving issues:
The camera will freeze when you insert the card for usually about 1 minute (camera is unresponsive). After this time the camera again becomes responsive, but does not recognize the card "No digi mag found". Same thing when I try to format the card, it says there's no mag attached.

We had the card checked by SIM about a month ago, and it checked out fine at that time. . .

If you've any suggestions, it would be appreciated. (Like, is there a way to sort of 'hot format' the card, or something like that?).

Update:

Looks like a broken pin in the camera's cf module is the likely culprit. We didn't notice it at first because its not causing problems with the other cards. . . Odd. We'll verify on another cam at some point, and make sure its not the card as well. For now, its a sign I think to upgrade to SSD!
