Generate Proxies for Epic M footage in Redcine-X?

Is it possible to generate proxies for Epic M footage? I have tried using Redcine-X build 454 by exporting Quicktime Wrapper format, the proxies show up in the folder along with my original R3d but they wont play back, I only see a grey image.
I need an easy way for clients to view and log original footage and proxies were always the best way so far, any solutions?

The quicktime component doesn't support the epic proxies yet.
That is coming.
