18-50 RED Lens f-Stop marker is slipping...

A quick question about my 18-50 lens. The F-Stop marker is suddenly slipping when I adjust the aperture. So, is this something I can tighten myself? I noticed there are some small divots on the barrel which I suspect are small screws under some wax. Any help would be appreciated.

Same thing happened to me, I found a buyer, problem solved

send it to RED or an approved lens technician for maintenance. We had a similar problem with our 18-50, where the focus was slipping after using it a lot on a motorized followfocus. We send it to RED UK where Alan took care of it. Got it back and it was smoother than when it was new. no problems again with the endstops.

had to fix it twice already. the focus ring too. this lens was a good bang for the buck but the mechanics are garbage.
