Hi, guys. Or i'm stupid, or - where i can find to download REDALert (really need red rushes, acually). I cannot find it on the download page. Only RedCine-X, Can anybody helps?

Actually (this question not to you, of course) - normal customer care, normal company marking "discontinued" corresponding products, avoiding their users spent half an hour trying to find those files, which were there 100% before, and thinking that they are stupid.....

in their defense, the software has been discontinued for a very very very long time now. RED updates their post pipeline software on a near monthly basis, it's the customers purgative to stay up to date with updates. Lots of manufacturers don't send mass emails out to anybody updating software and firmware, the announce it all the time on this forum. That said, Redcine X is your complete tool now, it does everything red alert, and original redcine ever did, and than some.

Yes, REDCine-X does what you need and more. REDAlert!, REDRushes, and RocketCine have long been deprecated and discontinued. Please don't use them.

Oooops. What i can do if i need batch rendering to the avid dnxhd, i.e.?
Take an hour to get familiar with Redcine X, you won't be disapointed. It's so much better than Red-Alert / Red Rushes, you'll love it.
It also does MXF and AAF files in any DNxHD flavour you want, so you should be covered. Also try using the "new" RedColor 2 and RedGamma 2, they are way better than what you had before.

Might be worth having a heading on the Red Support page with REDAlert!, REDRushes, and RocketCine title saying so - I've had at least three queries this last month! Not everybody reads Reduser.

i feel like is such a persistant issue, so many people are still using legacy software that really effects the quality of the image. I was talking to an editor the other day, and she had no clue there was anything OTHER than red alert. and she's been using that to create her online files for clients all the time, and those clients have no clue either. there's got to be a better way to eliminate more of this misinformation out there beyond the boards. maybe bigger louder announcements as for mentioned on red.com itself, maybe trying to reach out to more websites that publish about updates and industry changes all the time?

I know that, that other camera that shall not be named, that female named one, everytime they have a firmware update, it's plastered on 3-4 major film maker and professional websites immediately...

I've accepted long ago that the best kept secret about RED post workflow must be keeping your software up to date. I don't know how else to explain this phenomenon.
