Color Data doesn't Import to After Effect

Hi,

If I color grade the footage in RedCineX, save the RMD and import the footage in After Effects CS5, the color data does not import. If I bring the same file into Premier CS5 it will work.

Does anyone know why my footage doesn't look the way I shot it in After Effects CS5?

Hi,

have you tried to click with the right button on your R3D and then go to Interpret Footage -> Main -> More Options.. there will be a "Reload from RMD" (or something like this)

Thank you Fabricio. I don't see anything like "Reload from RMD" inside the menu. If I choose "As Shot," under the preset option, the color is not as I shot it.

Ops, I see now that you are using CS5, and I don't recall from memory how it was.. on the cs5.5 there is a reload from RMD...

Well, I need to upgrade to CS5.5 then. I'm available for the upgrade, but just haven't done it yet. I think that will fix it!
