Rocket speeds 2k 300fps

So what are transcode speeds for everyone else? Im extremely slow, not even worth using the rocket, 60 second clip takes 20 minutes, fit height to 1080 PR 444

You got something wrong, dude... Give some more info so someone can help you fix it. You should be tearing through 2K footage like it's nothing. Do you have the latest Rocket drivers *AND FIRMWARE* installed?

Is it 2k 2:1?

2:1 has to be scaled up to 1080 and scale up doesnt use the Rocket. If you scale to width does it speed up?

Yeah, I think thats the problem. Its 2:40, and I need to scale to fit height for a 16x9 crop

Also my clip was 1:53, of an insert slate... and took total 17:35 minutes

Next clip I fit width and yields expected rocket speeds... Bummer..

I want to say it shouldn't be that much slower, but I guess it depends on your system. ...Didn't notice the scaling up part.

We've got a way faster cpu scaling engine coming in a month or so.

If speed is really what you need, render unscaled 2k 2:40 then resize in AE (better scaling engine) or your finishing program.
