  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

EPIC or Alexa... my kind of Real world test, Warsaw, Poland... ;)

What speaks volumes is just look at the fact that Ketch is holding all he needs in 1 hand, self-contained vs. an entire kitted-up rig with coax cable sprawl for the Alexa to make a comparison (& an uneven one at that). If you were flying a Steadicam -- it's a no-brainer. EPIC WIN!

On a funny sidenote, that Master Prime looks so big on the Epic :)

Well in defense of Master Primes, which they are HUGE, that one is the 12mm the biggest one, together with the 150mm.
 
THey could go EPIC just by viewing the images in this thread alone.

Wait until they get in and grade!

what i have seen so far, both cameras are very close.

Absolutely Milan,

what I can say (unofficially) is that a little bird told me that they are very pleased with EPIC, not only at the evident Form factor, but at the Color test,
which IMO what the Colorist does is always an important test, to show how the files can handle Post manipulation.

As soon as our friends from Warsaw, gives us info we can publish, we will... ;)

I'm just bummed that Ketch did a camera test without hot babes... Yes, I'm shallow, I know.
