Here's some footage I shot on July 4th (today). Shot this in an old abandoned dairy in Ventura County, CA. First time out and about with the Epic SO LIGHTWEIGHT! Stuffed it into a backpack with two RPP lenses. This was shot with the 18mm RPP. 120FPS Redcode 12:1. All handheld.

Could someone with an (updated) EPIC please post a 30sec R3D clip which is set to playback at 60fps instead of 23.976fps?
The recording speed can be either 60fps, 120fps, or 300fps.
A resolution of 2K should be just fine.

I really wanna see how this sort of footage looks like, and how the motion "feels".

Thanks,
Eric

Brandon, I really liked the look of that.

Any CC involved or was that straight off camera?

Thanks!

I just used RedLogFilm, adjusted shadows, increased saturation a bit and brought down gamma a bit.

"Scary dairy" = love it! What's the music - Inception?

plenty of ways to test this yourself...

Paul,
Actually, there isn't.
I've downloaded many R3D files that RED users have shared, but none of them can be played back at 60fps in RCX.
The playback speed (usually 23.976fps) is hard-coded in the files' metadata, and cannot be changed.

That's why I asked people here to share new R3Ds that are originally set in camera to playback at 60fps.

The legend of the dairy: It's right next to the old State mental hospital, and some crazies got out and torched the place and violently murdered the dairy farmer. And now it's abandoned and haunted.... Thats the exaggerated legend of course :)

Brandon,
Thanks for sharing your 120fps EPIC footage. looks lovely.

I apologize for using your thread as sending out a request to users on this forum, but since I don't have a permission yet to start my own thread, I had to use someone else's.
Is it possible for you to upload the test footage I requested?

Here's an excerpt from the EPIC user guide:

Thanks in advance, and sorry for intruding your thread.
