A guy offered to sell me this lens, and it looks like a Zeiss Standard Speed, but I'm not quite sure. Can anyone confirm?

They are not super speeds as he claims on eBay.

He actually claims they are Arri Super Speeds... whatever that may be. I'm not really sure he knows what they are so I was trying to get a better idea. They seem most like Standard speeds because of the 2.1 maximum ap.

Looks like a cineovision lens. Japanese arri/zeiss aftermarket "grey" item.

Supposedly cineovision bought a bunch of optical blocks when zeiss discontinued the standard speeds and continued making the lenses in their own factory.

They also made contax zeiss based lenses and Olympus zuiko based lenses.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I'd say you'd want to test these and see I'd their coatings work for you.

I'd imagine they have a fair amount of veiling flare. That's just my guess after testing a set of cineovision Olympus. I like them.
