I have no stake in this theater, I don't even know who owns it, I just wanted to spread the word as a happy new fan.

I really hope this is the direction of cinema, it is a far better experience than any of the Regal/AMC/Century and related ilk.

This new Cinetopia just opened yesterday and is insane, every single screen is exclusively 4k digital projection, it's premium stadium seating and they have a restaurant/bar on site so you can order good food (not concession crap) and if you go into their 21-and-over theaters, you can order pitchers of micro brew or bottles of wine for the movie.

Again, I know this sounds like a commercial, but I dont even know who owns it, I just hope people support places like this and that this sort of premium 4k experience becomes the norm. I now have a new goal, to premiere my first feature at this place.

Those "living room" setups they have for a few of the screens are exactly what I've been trying to get some of the theatre guys to do around here.... Nice to see someone has figured it out. In an industry where there's too much focus on putting butts into seats and packing seats into theaters; all while trying to turn a profit on overpriced crap concessions, this is a good change.
