what did you guys do to monitor on set?

On camera we had an EVF and the 5" Red monitor. We were using focus assist which takes the chroma out. Also we had a director's monitor set up from the hd-sdi out (Flanders 17") with the chroma turned off on the monitor creating a B&W effect. It was funny at the end of the day when we would look at dailies and they would be in color as we were so used to seeing everything in black and white.

Thanks guys. This was a blast to film. I really enjoyed working in black and white. Lighting for it was very different than what I do with color. I'm looking forward to the trailer (I'm not cutting it but will sit in on CC). Once it's finished I'll post a link.

I really like the poster, and the lighting is very interesting in the stills! Can't wait to see a trailer, and the actual movie!

The film premiers tomorrow night, 11/11/11, at the Orpheum Theatre in Foxboro, MA with two showings, one at 7P and one at 9P. If anybody in the Boston/Providence area would like to see the film, tickets will be available for both shows at the door. I would like to have posted the trailer sooner as we were trying to get a nicer version available that didn't have the compression youtube introduces... but was not able to get that out. So here is the youtube version:
