Thank you Jacek and to all of you for your reply. After the discussion here I called a lens expert friend I trust to make sure about my set. While there are other opinions online that seem to confirm what I have long believed, it seems the opinions I trust the most affirm that the 25mm is indeed a rehoused Canon K35 24mm but that the 35, 50, and 85mm are all Zeiss glass. The Cineovision Ultra Speed Set included the 24mm Canon K35 because Zeiss did not have glass at T1.4 at this focal range with the expanded coverage. Due to the nearly perfectly round irises on these Cineovision lenses that resemble the K35s and their equally impeccable performance, I must have mistakenly assumed they were all K35s. Needless to say these are a fantastic set of cinema lenses with extremely high performance and full still frame coverage. Please excuse this lapse in memory and any confusion I may have caused. Thank you all very much for your input.

This is a very nice set and if I was a DoP I would probably go for them. However they are not for me. I need the Canon made sets K35 not rehoused FD Series lenses.
I particularly need the 55mm T1.3.
I already have 2 spare 18mm T1.5 I never saw a 1.6 or is this a slip of the type?
How did my 55mm get broken a few have asked me. All it took was a moments distraction on the collimator and Bingo.
Sadly this cost me a pending sale of the whole set. No you cannot insure for this!!
SO GUYS I am still looking for that elusive 55mm K35 and have top money available for one as long as the rear elements are perfect.
Cheers to everybody and Thanks Sergio.

Tony, I'm sorry to hear about your loss. This makes me never want to rent my k35s out ever again.... So scary..

So did Cineovision actually rebuilt the original canon k35 set or did they rebuild the FD set into K35 alike set? This set looks good, I've been looking around for original K35 35mm BNCR, any one has it for sale for reasonable price?

Love my K35's, they have some sort of magic inside, they are sharp but still render skin nicely
and they are a great match to break the perfection of Digital Sensors.

I got mine converted to PL Mount so I've a VP BNCR mount for the RED One up for sale. ;)

All the best for your sale Sergio, I wouldn't think twice...

I see the 25 looks like the 24mm K-35 from the looks of the rear element.
The 35mm however is nothing like the 35s I convert to PL. I would bet against it's K35 pedigree
There was no 50mm that I know of- all the ones I worked on were 55mm
On the 50(55?) and 85 the elements look too curved for K35s- their elements are almost flat.
I know there are different versions but these would be a first for me....

$4k for xr35 + lens set, that's a great deal on ebay

Yup, God bless folks who don't know how to list stuff ;-) I almost bought them myself, but I figure 4 sets of primes is enough ;-)
