so. for several years I have shot RED out at Burning Man.

In 2008 I had 3 RED ONEs on the playa for our huge documentary As The Dust Settles teaser1
2009, I was there shooting a few pickups for our doc. (RED ONE)
2010, I got to work on a new multi-year project for a friend of mine. (shooting on RED ONE MX)

and now things are beginning to lock in for BM 2011. Aug 28- Sept 6 2011 approx.

I know several of us RED/EPIC people will be there. Anyone going?

Not Sure yet, But love to attend, if my August/sep. schedule allow me

I will be there! I have my tickets and just turned in my media/filming request!

Just sent you an email, Hedge.

I saw that tickets sold out this year...They look pretty stingy on the media passes...Hope you guys have a great time...Looking forward to seeing some footage...

A good friend of mine who is a producer is heading down to burning man (coming from Tokyo). I'm sure he wouldn't mind geeking out...

Mike or Tom you planning on going this year?

Had a blast shooting this little time lapse film for Spark Pictures last year: https://vimeo.com/75660130

Planning on shooting my own film this year and might bring out my epic. Little worried about it ingesting the dust, tho I suppose I can send it in for a clean after. Working on getting early access to time lapse some of the sculptures getting built.

Anyways down to collab on a project if either you gentleman are planning on going.

Cheers!
Danny.

Never been but might do it this year. As a pure attendee, any recommendations appreciated!

Tom you plan to shoot anything out there? Either way I would be stoked to try and find you, shake your hand and tell you how much you have inspired me, and perhaps chat gear for awhile.

Paul some recommendations:
1) AC is pretty essential to sleep when you want to and having a RV is good to kinda escape the dust.
2) Put some time into acquired a really good bike with a really comfortable seat. Deck it out with as much EL wire and lights as you can so you don't get run down and so that you can find it in the mayhem after parking. Bring a lock. Get a basket for the bike, nice for stuff management. I recommend something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Worksman-Port...8&qid=1401374442&sr=8-3&keywords=workman+bike
3) Get a rad cloak with a bunch of pockets, also nice for stuff management.
4) Get one of these misters: http://www.amazon.com/MistyMate-200...=1401374518&sr=8-4&keywords=pump+water+mister

Thats about all I can think of for now,
Cheers!
