Sounds good!
For the uneducated, who is Getty?

[Mark Phelan]

The stock photo house. gettyimages.com

[Michael Thornton]

I think it's this one.

[Rick Darge]

Getty is the king of all media. And that's awesome news Jarred. Speaks to the power of what you guys are doing down there... Epic is like a tidal wave of change

[Jarred Land]

Yes Getty Images...

[Steve Johnson]

Wow - great news.

Soooooo looking forward to getting my EPIC-X and playing with all these features...

[Gunleik Groven]

This - appart from being true - sounds very likely from what I've seen so far.

The Epic is by far the dream image-machine.

Congrats

And this is why we are preparing for the first EPIC Photo Gallery here in Rome...

Prints wil be large, and both in 2D and 3D...

[Filip Orlandic]

The images from EPIC are gorgeous. They are sharp with ultra high resolution and also with a lot of informations in shadows and highlights. I did some close-ups and the skin tone was absolutely amazing. Everybody were shocked!

Here is the ungraded 5K jpeg image of human's palm. Take a look at sharpness and resolution. This is insane.

Ketch, I wanna come to see it in 3D

[Felix K.]

Thanks. They seem to be quite the photography experts. So congratulations, RED! DSMC does now exactly what you promised!

[David Baumber]

As an Exclusive Getty Images contributor I'm very, VERY pleased to hear that

[JustinC]

That's truly fantastic news. Stills and motion just got married in NYC. Hopefully Getty will publish some REDCODE specs.

[Jay Silver]

Jarred, will we ever be able to customize the aspect ratio on the epic? It would be great in stills mode to be able to shoot a more traditional frame instead of a 2.4:1 aspect ratio frame.
When do you think 16x9 will be available in 5K?

[Detlev Eller]

.... pssst ...... can we keep this news between us .... lol .....

Incredible detail, Philip. Loving it.

Congrats, Jarred. Who needs Red Dragon, again? :}

16x9 5k was available from day 1 of "wild" EPIC M's.

[Lorenzo Straight]

You can get with this, or you can get with that [repeat 3X]
I think you'll get with this, for RED is where it's at
[repeat both lines 2X]

[michael zaletel]

That is a very big deal!

[Eric Lange]

Not bad for a so called “video” camera…

(great news indeed; how about a RED 645?)

Cheers,

Eric
