  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

REDVOLT + REDVOLT travel charger

For you guys that own Epic-M's... it will change your life :)

I agree...being able to handhold the camera without a brick tethered to the back is going to change everything. Cant wait! I hope Epic-M #98 is in the first batch :)

Wohoo.

What Greg said. This camera is too good to be true.

Being able to shoot 5k 120fps, or 2k 300fps, or 5k 60fps HDRx with redvolts and no cables with a small top shelf prime must be plain WEIRD! In the most awesome way.

Yep I can't see a great use for a redvolt battery module on the back. You might as well use v-lock batteries, and save the Redvolts for lightweight use in the side handle.
If you're on the shoulder, a v-lock battery further out the back will give better balance.

isn't it funny how when you see a recon thread is only on its 3rd page of comments you know it can only be a few hours old at maximum...just goes to show how much interest there is in this company

anyway, do we know the recharge times for the redvolts?

Yes. The Quad Charger that comes in the Fall will charge 4 batteries.

I hope the quad charger can do at least 2 simultaneously.

Are the larger REDVOLT XL batteries still on the table? And if so, do they require a different charger or will we be able to use both batteries on the same chargers?

Really hope the quad charger can handle 4 simultaneous.

5 batteries and one of those would be a grea place to be. Two travel chargers as backup, and presto!
