Thanks Pietro. So far the vampire short won a Certificate of Merit for cinematography, also I got a bunch of rejections from the big fests. Got a screening in manhattan next week. Should be on youtube end of summer.

So... I've been obsessed with shooting works in a series lately... after spending most of my adult life going after individual images based on single sheet ad work for clients.

This series was shot for some friends of mine who just opened a few coffee shops.... printed large prints for the store walls. The brown tint was actually a color grabbed from a coffee bean and placed over the b&w images as an overlay layer.

I got a tell ya.... nothing turns me on more than shooting this gritty kind of work.... it's fast, it's easy, it's all about hovering around the space until the right shapes show up in the viewfinder. I'm lazy at heart and I wish I could just do this type of stuff day in and day out.
