Dear All,
I am thinking to purchase a monitor for my Canon 5D Mark 2. Many people say a lot of good words for Small HD, but some people said the color of Small HD was not accurate and tended to too yellow. Is it true?
Then what do you say about Marshall V-LCD651STX-HDMI? Marshall seems to be a better established brand, so I feel safe to purchase it, as we may need to take it up to 5,000m high mountain with -20 degree to film.
Or, any suggestion with this range of resolution?
Thanks in advance.

No. That is not true. The colors on the DP6 can look a little bit saturated compared to some of the others but I find it is pretty accurate... well, as accurate as any of the small monitors at this price... Side by side with a RED 7" and they look pretty similar to me. It is super tough since it is make from a block or aluminum and the accessories are great. You will be very happy with a DP6.

Also, you can tweak the colors to your liking, so no, not true. The DP6 is a fine piece of gear. Can't comment on the Marshall, haven't worked with it. And of course, with conditions like that, you'll have to protect your gear with additional covers/warmers anyway...

Thanks a lot, Steve and Tobias.
What if I really want to have something to compare, is there anything similar, if not better, to Small HD, say I even pay more for it? I heard about a new Panasonic 9 inches monitor coming soon. Any first hand experience on it yet?
Thanks.

Neither, get the TVLogic 5.6"

Because its only a few hundred more but has awesome features line pop up waveform and vectorscope, plus they did a much better job thinking through where to put the HDSDI connectors than SmallHD did
