Is this article inspiring?

Yes it is.

EDIT:

Lol, after reading this, I'm beginning to think that 35mm film is actually a crappy way to shoot .

[Matthew Rogers]

I am amazed that in the first paragraph they got two things wrong...RED Drive can hold more than 60 minutes of footage, and the camera's price is $17,500. Come on! This is the third article I've seen with REALLLLLLY basic mistakes.

Matthew

[Mitch Martinez]

at least they noted that the price was without lenses...

Kudos and congrats, OffHollywood!

[David M. Geary]

Mark,
Very nice article, can you tell me which steadicam you were using to fly the red? I'm curious as to how much the total weight was for that rig with the rods, mattebox, etc.

Thanks,
David

This is great Mark...thanks for sharing.

Hey, how many of us were sucked in by the 17.5 (initial) price tag And are happy because of it, even if we did pay a heck of a lot more

[Mark Toia]

Yes it was a good article,
Pity the writer called it a VIDEO camera in the first few lines though.
Ted will have something to say about that I'm sure.
