So The Epic on Set today has no Purple or Red Colors for the Exposure check on False Color, Any reason this might be happening? It has only the Grayscale,

We'll take a look. Can you send us a still r3d? (deanan at red)

Of course, I'm in Exposure Check mode. The Exposure check variables Purple and Red for Under and overexposure are no longer shown. I changed the Color of the Frame guide and the crosshair this morning, from white. And the False Color 'Colors' aren't there anymore. it seemed to have disappeared. Maybe a bug?

I dont need to use the Video False color because its not that helpful... If it combined the Exposure check with Video Check it would be more helpful. I can't quite understand why the white clipping was removed from the Video False Color, many DP's I work with are upset over this and only use the Exposure check now. I can understand why its separate. But I'd like to see it added back to the video False Color. One button, different colors... I rely more on my cinezone than False Color now.

Can you try to reset to defaults and see if that works?

I'll try that on the next setup, that might do it.

Resetting defaults didnt seem to fix the exposure check. Is there any options that would cause the camera to not show clipping black or white? It seems to have been something that got permanently switched off when I changed the color of the reticule(crosshair) to black from white.

Which firmware are you on?

Using 1.4.9, I can look on the 2nd body I've got. I just updated it to 1.4.9 yesterday, and I'll check to see if changing the frame guide and reticule color disables False Color Exposure check 'Colors'

Turns out I left the Camera in the Body case overnight and False color worked in the morning.. Epic just needed some rest is all.
