Ok.

This is NOT a scientific test, so please don't treat it as one. It was me in the garden, and my lovely rose bush. I have had a few people contact me regarding coverage of the older Speed Panchros on the Epic. So today i slung em on there and shot my bush..........I will put grabs ( jpeg ) from the speed panchros on this post and the Panchro/I on the next post.
The idea was really just to show coverage on the 5K FF sensor. Some of you may be surprised!!!

For some reason i shot the 100mm at 2:4:1 but all the rest are FF. I also added another grab of the 18mm at T22 into the sky, you will see visible vignette at T22, vignette starts to kick in about T11. This was shot at 9.00PM GMT, light was fading fast. I just put a quick curve on each take....that's it nothing else. Redgamma2.

So first the Old mid-century Series 2000 Century speed panchros....hehe...

A lovely touch in the Epic monitor whe using the Panchro/I is the stop is shown in 3rds of a stop. Just nice to look at the monitor and see exactly whats going on. At the moment there is a bit of confusion with showing the FL off the lens, all lenses show up as 48mm in this present Epic build.

Man I love the look of those Panchro/i's! Thanks for posting.

Yes they are great glass. As i say, these grabs in no way represent the quality of either lenses, they are purely for coverage on the Epic FF sensor.....a bit of fun.:001_smile:

Also thee Jpegs are in no way as sharp as the original tiffs....they look much softer, they are very small files.
