CineGear and EPIC footage in 4k

I will be doing a presentation with my good friends from AJA video at CineGear on Friday at 445pm at the big theater on the Paramount lot.

We are planning to show the latest EPIC reel of footage on the Sony 4k projector, and show some pretty sweet AJA Kona3G workflow for 4k ProRes, as well as discuss the use cases of the KiProMini to record your 5k REDCODE RAW on the EPIC, and your HD for your 1080p uses (offline, TV online, instant dailies, etc)

For those that haven't had a chance to see EPIC footage on the big screen in 4k. it's worth the trip

Ted, AJA wasn't discussed too much at Reducation last week. Why wait for Cinegear? I know that I would like a primer of the relationship earlier than later.

Is AJA working on the issue of the Ki Pro Mini not recording to both cards in sequence automatically ? It's quite annoying for documentary filmmakers given the limited sizes of CF cards.
Once that is solved (plus the freezes if your HDMI slips out), it should be a great companion to the EPIC!

Yes, AJA is working on the KiProMini doing stop start at the same time as you roll and cut the EPIC - that feature should be ready soon.
