WANTED: RENTAL GRADING MONITOR JUNE 6-17th

[TJ Hellmuth]

I'm helping a producer looking for a lead on finding an discounted grading monitor for a feature for the next couple weeks. The producer has hired a freelance colorist to grade our feature in the office in Studio City for a couple weeks, but the monitor rental was a little underestimated. I don't know his budget but I think its around $1000. If anybody can refer me to a flexible rental house, production company or individual with a larger good monitor for grading, I'd appreciate a tip. The 24" Flanders Scientific would be good. A little larger would be better but I'm not familiar with all the models in the 27"-40" range that are good for this purpose. I just know we won't be using JVC because of the viewing angle.

Thanks for any help.

For this much just BUY Panny 42" plasma.

[Andrae Palmer]

I've got a Flanders LM-2461W for rent. Just sent you a PM with info.

[Von Thomas]

I've got an Eizo 232W for rent with calibration device and software. It's not large, but it's dead on neutral once calibrated. PM me

looks like they found some crazy weekly rate on a Cinetal for under 500/week. I've not seen one of those in a few years, but I think I remember the viewing angle to be pretty good. The colorist wants to go with that. Thanks for the followups!
