This is the "last of the mohicans", the last of the new Century 17-35 lenses, the steadycam and handheld workhorse of film rental houses the world over. This lens has always been a favorite of rental houses because if is tough, sharp, and easy to repair. My sample is in brand new condition as you can see from the photos. It will last you decades! Plus there is no pl mount zoom out there smaller and lighter.
Another big advantage of this lens is that it has a built in series 9 filter space, so you can use it without a matte box when you are trying to stay small and still use filters, or just have a clear one like I do to keep the glass safe.
