Aerials with Epic

[Peter Degerfeldt]

Don't know if I dreamt this, or if we recently shot aerials with the Epic in our Stab C Gyro system.

Still "gobsmacked" over how the RED team can put all those functions and quality in to that small package!

Very nice! Is it your Epic-M? Congratulations are in order in any case!

Sorry, i wished it was our camera. We will order a bag of them for upcoming jobs in 3D.

Hello Jeremy,

Send me you email and i will mail you some descent resolution pix.

This head ( Nettman Stab C Compact ) is absolutely rock steady, 5 axis gyro stabilized and full control of roll, takes any camera from IMAX and down.
Any platform, Helicopter, Boat, Car, Crane, Wire.

We could probably have used a bunch of Epic on it

Stacey,

As everything in this business, nothing is typical. It's very much up to the DP and Director what look they want.

I am curious to see aerial footage shot with HDRx.
