I just thought that I would share this exchange I had with my wife. It really amused me.

The dear lady made the mistake of showing an interest in things RED and ended up with a detailed exposition on the ins and outs of processing RAW files. Suddenly she looked up and said " If they are raw files, shouldn't you be cooking them rather than processing them. After all, you cook your books!"

Oooooooooo.

Were cooking RAW files over here from now on.:laugh:

haha..never thought of it that way! from RAW --> Cooking --> Serving... seems like a simple way to explain it to noobies too

I don't want my food RAW, but I do want it cooked - not pre-warmed though, that loses the flavor!

Take pre-compressed food, cook it sloppy and you'll end up with a dish that'll serve your tummy, but not more.

Now, start with excellent raw material, cook it lovingly and you'll end up with a feast remembered long after the meal.
